    thanks for taking the time to contact us.

    While this wasn’t against Plugin Dev Guidelines (as confirmed by a Moderator) I agree it was a bit invasive.
    We apologize you for this.

    We just released a plugin update that fixes that.

    @shortpixel: AFAIK @jdembowski’s opinion regarding the plugin guidelines is just his opinion as a forum moderator and any official “ruling” would come from the plugin team.

    As for the update, you seem to have removed some other code as well (recent changes regarding PDF and .dat files). Was that intentional?
