Please remove that obnoxious Subscribe box

    Hi Yoast team, love ya, but please can you remove that obnoxiously large Subscribe box from the WP dashboard. YES, I can X it away, but it comes back next time I log in. Thanks!!

    Can you elaborate more on the subscribe box? What exactly is it saying? Is it appearing in the WordPress Dashboard area or when you go into the Duplicate Post settings? Are you able to take a screenshot? You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.

    Hey @markbignell

    Thanks for providing us with a screenshot on this.

    If you go to your WP admin dashboard > Settings (sidebar) > Duplicate Post > and head to the Display tab, there should be an ‘Show update notice’ option that is ticked. If you untick the box and save the changes, does the notice then go away?

    Yes that seems to have solved the problem thanks!

    I have loads of spam but cannot delete it as it will only delete 100 at a time and there is 10000 – how can i get rid of it?
