Please Review my site

  • My site is https://www.catholictravelblog.com I have it pretty much the way I wanted it for my blog, anyway. I plan to do my main website in WordPress also but wanted to start out doing the blog first. Would like to know how it looks to others. I don’t know code so I had to keep it simple.

    Have you thought of setting up a Google Font?

    You can find some beautiful fonts there and they’re very simple to add to WordPress

    Well I have a lot of font options on my blog…I guess that is tinyMCE. See how little I know? Anyway when I post it pulls up options for font, size, etc. So would it be better to just use one of those?

    Since both you and my two computer-geek friends were horrified that I used Comic San MS (who new it was so controversial?) I changed my font on my main site to Palatino Linotype size 16. I wish it was a bit darker but I must admit it is easier to read. Just changed the home page for now. Problem is, I don’t seem to have that font on my WordPress blog, or if I do I don’t know how to find it. I see about 17 choices but not that one. Any suggestions!

    Hi Dylan: Don’t give up on me yet!
    I changed the blog home page font to Helvetica 16, the next closest thing I could find to Palatino Linotype.

    Also tried Helvetrica on my main site, but did not look nearly as good as the Palatino Linotype. Any further suggestions?
