  • Unusual, and a little intimidating, to see privacy policy and terms of use so prominent at the top.

Your privacy policy doesn’t mention the scripts from Pinterest and Facebook, and a Disqus iframe, all of which are blocked by my privacy settings.

The main menu is broken. Hovering over Home, Security and Systems appear below it in white text on a transparent background — almost invisible. Then they reappear when hovering over any other menu item.

Thank you for your feedback Rod may I know what web browser you are using and what version?

Top menu with privacy policy and terms of use is only used for demonstration purposes of that top menu.

based on your post am I right to assume that you have javascript disabled or you are using some sort of a plugin like NoScript?

If so maybe this is why the menu on dotBuffer.com is not loading properly for you.

I’m using Firefox 24.0 with JavaScript enabled. I don’t load certain third-party scripts etc. unless I particularly want to, but the things I’m blocking don’t look as if they would affect your menu.

Strange I got that same version of Firefox on multiple computers and menu is fine, once again thanks for your feedback.

Website looks great to me on my PC both on Firefox and Chrome.

Checked it with my iPhone even that looks good nice and responsive.

    Nice interesting website.

My apologies. I was wrong. I’m also blocking Google fonts. The fallback font doesn’t allow Security and Systems to fit in the menu, so they wrap around below the menu. A fallback of Arial Narrow would work. Alternatively you could install the font pack on your own site so it’s no longer third-party.

Thanks Rod for you suggestions in regards to menu and fonts, I have done a quick fix by limiting the number of categories shown in main menu. Might replace entire menu system or introduce drop-down menus.

Website should be compatible with IE8, IE9, IE10, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome.

If anyone encounters any problems with those web browsers please let me know.
