Please Review My Website

  • Hey guys,
    I have a Technology Website about Apple, Android And Blackberry.

    Please help me out here,
    Can you review it on a scale from 1-10 and tell me what/how i can improve on it etc.
    It would be extremely helpful!

  • Firstly.
    1) How old is your site?
    2) Header is big and unnecesarry. Design or find smaller and cool logo.
    3) Remove “Uncategorized” Category.
    4) Move to top the “Categories” widget.
    5) Calender widget is unnecesarry, I think you should delete that.
    6) “CONTACT US” widget is unnecessary. Because of CONTACT US is already on top !
    7) Why you use 2 SHARE PLUGIN ??. Remove one of them.
    8) Finally, you have 2 ads in widgets. Place one of them to in post ! it’s more effective.

    I have had my site for about 6 months now.
    Okay am changing the logo right now.
    Removed calendar
    Moved Categories
    i can’t really delete the uncatorized category as of know as a lot of posts are in that but i am moving them so i will remove that category eventually
    I am using one share application don’t really know how you are seeing two :S

    Okay will post ads in posts !

    Oh right.
    Yea the problem is,
    The second one is pre-installed in the theme and only has those 4-5
    the other one has more so i use both as on the home-page without entering the main post itself it only shows one.

    Oh okey. I got it.
