• When people click on the admin dashboard link they want to go to the dashboard, not to a page about WP Statistics. Please, PLEASE remove that ‘feature.’

My clients rely on the dashboard page for support and are confused why they click on the dashboard link and get served random garbage.

Please, keep the plugin info inside of its own area and stop taking over other pages.

Great plugin, but this is going to lead to it being removed if it doesn’t change.

    Thank you

    Hi Corey,

It seems the WP-Statistics enabled in Admin menu that client’s click on that.

Or the WP-Statistics widgets enabled in WordPress dashboard. you can disable it.

    Hi,

    I’m seeing it myself.

It’s the actual admin menu link titled “Dashboard.” Often, when that’s clicked on, it brings up a landing page type of screen for WP Statistics, forcing the “Dashboard” link to be clicked on twice to access the actual dashboard.

I’m not talking about the WP-Statistics admin menu link, nor any widget. I’m speaking of the main “Dashboard” link with the speedometer icon. Clicking on that is bringing up the WP-Stats splash page. Not always, but way too often. (Even once is too often as it is confusing)

    Thanks,

    Corey
