    Could I kindly ask you to please turn the animated bird banner ad off?

    When we click X it just opens a new page.

    I just sent an email to the team at Yoast that wasn’t as polite.

    I’m not sure what gives them the right to advertsie within our Admin areas. I’d be 100% sure that there are rules disallowing this.

    It’s already been done. You just have to update the plugin to the latest version, or remove it entirely, like so many people are doing now.

    We sincerely apologize. We removed the banner completely in version 12.6.2 which we released on Black Friday, the 29th of November.
