    Installed Square for Woocommerce and I there’s this error that doesn’t go away despite disconnecting and reconnecting my account:

    Heads up! There may be a problem with your connection to Square. In order to continue accepting payments, please?disconnect and re-connect your site.

    Not sure what the issue is.

    Thank you for reaching out. I understand you’re having trouble with the Square for WooCommerce plugin. If you’ve already tried the standard disconnect and reconnect procedure and the issue persists, it might be helpful to check a few more things:

    • Square Account: Ensure that your Square account is in good standing and there are no alerts or actions required from your end.
    • API Credentials: Double-check that the API credentials used in the WooCommerce Square settings are correct.
    • Plugin Versions: Make sure that both WooCommerce and the Square plugin are updated to the latest versions.

    If everything seems to be in order, we might need to delve a bit deeper. Please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.     I went through the checklist you sent me:

    Square Account
    Everything is good, and I’m in good standing, as far as I can tell.

    API Credentials
    Checked all setting in WooCommerce for this, but I couldn’t find what you specifically mentioned, unless you’re referring to the Sandbox, which has already been configured.

    Plugin Version
    It is up to date.

    You are correct – this is the only issue I am experiencing.

    Additionally, the issue on Github says that it is closed now. Has it been remedied?

    I just checked and the fix for this is planned to be on the next version of the app (4.6.1) which should be released soon. ??

    Just to note, version 4.6.1 has already been released. We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
