Hi, i read all the topics, and tried dozens of combinations, but i cant seem to figure this out. This is my situation:
    – Plesk hosting
    – WordPress Multisite
    – WordPress MU Domain Mapping
    – WP Multi-Network
    – Pronamic Domain Mapping
    – sunrise code addon is set

And everything is working AS LONG AS
    – subsite.network.com (running as a subdomain)
    – pronamicdomainpage.com (domain page)
    Works fine

    BUT IF
    – networkdomainname.com (subsite.network.com running as a mapped domain)
    – pronamicdomainpage.com (domain page)
    It doesn’t work

    The issues occured during testing:
    – it redirects me to homepage of the main network site
    – the domainpage shows another domainpage (i have several for demo and testing purposes)

i’ve tried somuch that i lost overview. For the moment i deactivated the MU network plugin, without result. I also started doubting wether DNSSEC could be an issue…

Time for some support i think (hope), cause i invested loads of time for the testing part. I’m setting up a multisite network and i want it to be perfect this time ??

Can someone please help me out or set up a instruction for this configuration? The link in the other post doesn’t work any more, and on the site of pronamic isn’t really much technical info.

I saw rather up-to-date support answers, so i hope we can figure this out.

    Thanks in advance!

The installation instructions can be found in the “Installation” tab of the www.ads-software.com plugin page. But unfortunately we don’t have any instructions/experience with your setup with the WP Multi-Network plugin.

If I had to guess, I’d think it has something to do with the sunrise and not with DNSSEC, but I can’t tell you what exactly without having access to the sites. It would take some/a lot of debugging for it to work, sorry.

Sorry that i react so late, i didnt receive any mail confirmation, from the topic at the time of your post. But anyway thanks for your reply.

In the meantime i got it up and running. The situation was that for mapping extra domains to the multisite-subsites, i use ‘domain-mapping’ instead of creating an alias in PLESK or cPanel.

Being used to the principle that the regular ‘domainmapping’ plugin solves the domainrequests (instead of Plesk or cPanel alias), made me assume that the domain-page plugin does the same. But thats not the case. It only does the job, when the domain is already ‘mapped to the site’. After that you can map it to a page. So the solution is: add the domainname that you want to map, to the ‘pronamic-domainpage’ AND to the domainmapping pluging thats installed.

It looks a bit ‘double’ but the advantage of this solution is that a user is able to use this functionality, fully within WordPress, without having to set up anything in the Hosting environment. This should be a fine solution for less experienced users.

Nevertheless it would be nice if it could be solved within 1 field. For now its working fine.

    Thanks for the nice functionality!
