Plug In activation causes blank pages

    im running 2.8 with NextGen gallery and mbs premium slideshow plugin, when i activate the nextgen gallery plugin, the site breaks, leaving only a blank page, if i turn the slideshow plugin off it works, if i turn nectgen off it works, so there is a conflict, but i have no idea what, can anyone shed some light for me please?
