Plug In "Add New" not working, nor is FTP of new plugin

    Trying to use the ADD NEW function to choose and upload formidable as a zip file…cannot select the file, so no go. Then, unzipped the file and uploaded to the folder to PLUGINS directory. It does not show up in the installed plugins list so that it can be activated.

    I had copied the downloaded zip files to a different directory. When I did so, my computer automatically unzipped the files…so they would not work. I re-downloaded the files and left them in the downloads directory –they they uploaded just fine. thanks for your help. That was it!
