Hi. Can you explain what are the main differences between this plugin and the ‘appointment hour booking’ plugin which you also produce?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

The main difference is that the Appointment Hour Booking is “services oriented”, it allows adding services with a defined duration and the available times are calculated based in the “open hours” and “service duration”. The “capacity” is defined for the service.

The WP Time Slots is “time-slots oriented”. It allows more freedom for creating separated time-slots each one with its own capacity (capacity is defined for each time-slot). There are no “open hours” in this one but multiple time-slots added at the needed times.

Based in the above both plugins covers different cases of use.

The other features and plugin interface are very similar.

Thank you for your interest in the plugins!

    Many thanks for your reply.
I am not sure I understand the difference between services oriented and ‘time-slots oriented’. But if I explain how I intend to use the forms perhaps you could advise me:
    1. I intend to offer a complete online course which will entitle subscribers to a number of free appointments each of 15 minutes duration with the opportunity to book and pay for additional sessions.
    2. I would also offer the opportunity to book and pay for sessions of an hours duration, at a different rate, to those who have not subscribed to the complete course.

A solution may be to publish the “free booking” form in a private page and give access to it only to the subscribed users (ex: a password protected page).

Another option may be to give a 100% discount code to the subscribed users. See the Coupon codes add-on (commercial version of the plugin):

You may be also interested in the following feature for charging additional optional items/services in the booking form:

Thank you for using the plugin!
