[Plug-in: contact-form-7-to-database-extension] Exporting live data
-
Hello-
I am trying to export my form’s data live to either Excel or a Google spreadsheet.
The test form has 4 questions, all with radio buttons for selecting the answers.
When I go to Contact>Database, select my form, and choose Excel Internet Query, I get a download titled SurveyTest.iqy. When I try to open the file in Excel 2010, I first get a security warning and I click enable to allow the data connection. Then I get an error that says “Microsoft Excel could not open or read this query file. Either the file has been damaged or the file format is not valid.”
I have no problem opening the regular CSV.
So then I tried the Google Spreadsheet Live Data, according to the directions that opened in another tab. After I paste the code into the script area and the formula into A1, the first cell in each columns gives a #REF! error (reference out of range.)
I tried two different WordPress account userid/pw combos in the spreadsheet formula, both produced the error. One was the admin account and one was a Contributor-level account.
Either the Excel Internet Query or the Google Live Spreadsheet would be fine – I just need one of them to work.
I’m using the latest versions of WP and the plug-in. Other plugins are: Adminimize, Akismet, Collpasing Archives, CF7, Dynamic Widgets, LoginLock, Members, Migle Forum, Reveal IDs, Shortcode Exec, Simple 301 Redirects, Theme my Profile, TinyMCE Advanced, WP-RSSImport, WP Calendar adn WP Render Blogroll Links.
The database options are all at their default settings except Capture form submissions from Fast Secure Contact Form Plugin is set to false and the max number of rows is set to 40.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
