Plug in / database issue after upgrade to 3.1.4

    Performed an auto upgrade to 3.1.4 a few days ago.

    I’m now having problems with plug ins that access the database (WPDBManager and Counterize), WPDBManager can’t seem to retrieve the MySQL version and so does not display any tables, Counterize is showing that the tables are empty. DB Tables are still present and populated.

    Performed a manual update, problem persisted, deactivated Counterize plugin (by renaming folder as couldn’t access the database) and problem is now fixed.
