Plug-in for formatting registration info?

Hey; I was debating whether to put this here or in the plug-in forum, but since my question is more general I thought I’d try it here. Sorry if I took a wrong turn!

Our company has started organizing contests (horse back riding) and it has reached the point where we get forty or more contestants at a time, so simply having them send an e-mail and then enter their info ourselves into a spreadsheet is becoming somewhat tedious. I have a few ideas on how to streamline this, but since we’re already running a WordPress site, I thought I’d look into the possibility of arranging something from the site itself. So, in short I was wondering if anyone here knows of a nifty plug-in or method that allows a visitor to enter their info on the site and then have it automatically added to, for example, a google doc spreadsheet? For example, could a standard contact form be modified to perform something like this, securely and reliably? I have been looking around the plug-in section, but if it’s there I’ll just have to admit my own faulty search engine powers. Thanks in advance for any tips and ideas!
