please explain you use case a bit more in details. do you want to assign a particular membership level to all posts submitted through postie?

I want to post via email, but to only have access to the post for members that have subscribed to the blog.

Even if I don’t like the page to the main site, the search feature picks up the postings for non-members to read from the results of searching of the the postie email post.

    (BTW, thx for asking)

FYI Postie always creates the post using the WordPress user associated with the “from” address on the email.

That is understood. The question is to only allow subscribers to VIEW the message after it’s posted an not to allow the general public see the postings.

If I was a better programmer, I would volunteer. I hope you find someone else. It would be a lovely add on plug in. I’m glad you are doing this.

you don’t need to be programmer. you will just have to install the addon and see if it works the way you wanted. thats it.
