• I have two sites with this plug-in installed, both running on Elegant Themes Vertex plug-in.

After updating to 2.0.2 the slider has lost all functionality. It will not auto slide, the arrows for left and right do not display, and the tab dots at the bottom do not display as well.

Furthermore, on one site there is about 300px of extra white space showing as well that was no there before.

    Examples:

    https://www.livingthedreamrtw.com/2014/04/how-to-visit-easter-island-without.html
    https://www.discovertheburgh.com/smallman-galley-review/

This issue appears on both desktop and mobile; however, the extra white space issue only appears on Discover the Burgh on desktop.

The plug-in worked perfectly prior to the 2.0 updates. Can I re-install that plug-in and will my slides be saved, or will I have to rebuild if I revert back? I’d prefer to have these issues fixed with a 2.0.3 patch if at all possible as my host likes to auto-update plug-ins for me.

Ok, the problem is you are running Cache on your site with a CDN network. The Owl Carousel JavaScript file being server is the old 1.3.3 version – see this screenshot.

The Owl Carousel JavaScript file that Slide Anything 2 users is version 2.2.1. So my plugin is built on Owl Carousel Version 2 now, but your CDN cache is still sending version 1.3.3. So you need to clear/reset your CDN cache. Also to be on safe side, upload the latest version of my plugin 2.0.3.

Your second issue regarding the extra white space below your 2nd slider, is probably because of changes I have made to “Min Height” setting under “Slide Style”. This used to be in pixels, but now is in percent. So if you had a min height of 300 pixels before, this will be 300% of the slide width now.

I have switched to percent for this setting as it makes more sense responsively, e.g. a height of 75% of width keeps the same aspect ratio on whatever device you are viewing the site on. This setting should have been percent from the start.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but this change to get Slide Anything working on Owl Carousel 2 was necessary to ensure the continued existence of this plugin into the future – as some point their would be compatibility issues with Owl Carousel 1 and WordPress…

Hi, has your issues with Slide Anything been resolved.
If not, please update Slide Anything to version 2.0.5, which includes a few bug fixes.

Hi, I have the same problem, it has just stopped. I haven’t upgraded the plugin and have tried disabling other plugins. I’ve followed your advice and updated jquery. However Slide Anything no longer slides. I’m using version 2.0.5. Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Slider being used halfway down the homepage for Toolbox.

Ok the problem here is that it looks like 2 plugins are using OWL Carousel. See this screenshot of when I view the source of the page:
    https://gyazo.com/a35acca1410d91e985c936589804b25a

It looks like a plugin (‘addon-so-widgets-bundle’?) is also using OWL Carousel, so we have a clash. And because its JavaScript file is being after mine, that’s the one being used.
