I have installed the latest version of the Simple Footer Widget Area Plugin… In the Settings, I created 5 Widget Areas, which are showing in the footer of my site. However, when I go to add the content in each of the areas in the Widget section of the site, I can only enter information for the first one only. I see the other 4 areas in the Widget Section, but they are blank and I cannot enter or choose a menu to display in those respective Widget Areas in the footer…

Also, there is a bar at the bottom with the title/text: “Credential Widget Area” which I cannot see where to modify it.

    Here is the website: https://www.kozmikdesign.com/artundressed2017

    Please help… Thank you!

    Greetings from Podamibe Nepal,

Have you installed the latest version 2.0.1 with bug fixes as there were some bugs in our version 2.0.0 release, we had immediately released a new version 2.0.1 with bug fixes? As you described, there is a bar at the bottom with the title/text: “Credential Widget Area” which I cannot see where to modify it, this is only present in version 2.0.0 which have been removed in version 2.0.1.

So, we recommend you to update into latest version 2.0.1. After that, we believe that there won’t be any issues.

And, we are always there for support and help needed.

    Thank you.

I am using your latest version 2.0.1, and I also have teh latest version of WordPress 4.7.2, but it’s still not working… It is being displayed at the bottom of my website, but it only allows me to input information only for Widget Area 1 in the Appearance > Widgets section. The other 4 sections have no input field to choose a menu (Screenshot attached below)

The “Credential Widget Area” bar is gone now.

    Greetings from Podamibe Nepal,

You need to add widgets into SFWA Footer sections and save so that the widgets appear in the site. It seems that you have added the widget in SFWA Footer 1 only but not in SFWA Footer 2 and 3. Please add the widgets and save them so that they appear in your site.

    Hope this helps you out.

    Thank you.

I had something with a plug in that was preventing me to drag/drop the widget in there… All fixed now… Thanks!
