Plug-in over-riding video content to not display

Wondering if anyone else has had an issue with this plug-in stopping videos appearing on wordpress pages?

We are creating a closed access part of a clients website with video content from all of their online events, and then the videos stopped appearing on the live page (appeared on the editor). I found that when I disabled the text hover plug-in the video embeds worked again on the live pages.

It could be something to do with the Sprout theme being used or the extensive use of custom CSS, but I wondered whether anyone else had experienced this problem?
