[Plug in: Redirection] Redirects not working on "Related Posts"

Hello!

I have recently created an ebook that summarizes and updates several out of date blog posts I make last year. I don’t want to delete those old posts, because they do drive traffic to my blog, and I have a lot of posts that refer back to them. So instead, I decided to set them all up to redirect to my ebook page.

Simple enough, right?

Well, I am using the Redirection plug in, and it is working flawlessly – except when it comes to “Related Posts” at the bottom of the page.

Example:

And then scroll to the bottom to check out the “Related Posts.”

If you click on either “3 Ways to Grocery Shop More Efficiently” or “Intro | Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Meal Prep” it SHOULD take you to my ebook landing page, https://www.thelovelystars.com/mealprepmadesimple/

But instead, it will just bring you to the original blog post. The only exception to this is if you right click and open the link in a new tab. I have no idea why.

Can anyone please help? I really do not want these old blog posts accessible.
