plug-in slowing down my site

    my website is extremely slow because of your plug-in… loads in 1.5 seconds without your plug-in, over 4 seconds with the plug-in.

    my hosting company says “plugin does not support minimization of js and css as well as the deferring of javascript. I had to turn those features off to make your site work. I would advise working with the developers to resolve the issues so that you can renable those features in litespeed cache.”

    can you please advise how I can get this to work so it doesn’t slow down my site? I really like the plug-in but this is a big problem that I need resolved ASAP.

    Let me see what I can do. Are you using a plugin to minimize js and css? If so which one is it? I’ll test it out.

    I guess so, I am not a tech person. Is it litespeed cache? or WPMU DEV Dashboard?

    I just uploaded version 5.4 that should work. I tested with Lightspeed js and css minimization as well as the deferred js loading option. It’s working on my test site.

    Have you thought about going with another webhost? 4.5 seconds to load a WordPress site is pretty slow with no caching. I’m not using any caching on my main site and it loads pretty quick.

    5.4 is still not showing. on WordPress it shows that it was updated 14 minutes ago but still shows 5.3 as the version. Please advise
