Plug-In suggestions

Greetings!

I’m not sure if this is the right forum but, well, the plug-in forum is for specific plugins so I hope this is the right spot.

I have ExactMetrics, which I’m assuming is for stats but I’ve never actually used it – when I looked up how to view stats there is a mention of the Stats area in the Dashboard but ExactMetrics seem to be the only one that might be similar.

I am confused that the plug-in wants to connect to my Google account – I’m not comfortable with that, don’t know why my personal Google account would have anything to do with my website, and there are other search engines out there so how would those views get tracked? – so I’m wondering if there is a better option for tracking stats out there. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
