Plug in used to work, now it's "spinning" is ruining article content

    This plugin used to work great, but now it’s “spinning” is ruining article content. I have an RSS feed I manage from a legacy site. It’s changing words like “State Constitution” to “State Metabolic rate” (huh???). An article title that is in all caps, “SENATE APPROVES HILDENBRAND MEASURE TO PROTECT HUNTING AND FISHING” is changed to “SENATE Grants HILDENBRAND MEASURE TO Safeguard HUNTING AND FISHING”. And it’s not a issue with a compromised feed; I can replicate this on a locally hosted setup as well.

    I need to pull the articles as-is without any changes – how do I disable this “spinning”?

    And yes, the Content Spinner pulldown is set to “Disabled”.

It’s altering words like “Condition Metabolic rate” to “Condition Metabolism” (huh???). Articles title that’s in most caps, “SENATE Grants HILDENBRAND MEASURE TO Safeguard HUNTING AND FISHING” is transformed to “SENATE Grants or loans HILDENBRAND MEASURE To Guard HUNTING AND FISHING”. And it is not really a problem having a jeopardized feed I’m able to replicate this on the in your area located setup too.

    I have to pull the articles as-is with no changes – how do you disable this “spinning”?

    Try it yourself. Clearly the plug-in is modifying the text.
