[Plug-in: W-P Forums] Date time error

    Hi folks, I’m really wondering about the quality of W-P Forums plugin. I installed the forums and in looking up this error on the author’s pages, I found the same error on my install to errors dating back to 2007 and still not resolved:

    Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /usr/www/users/username/tacky/wp-content/plugins/wp-forum/forum-functions.php on line 666

    And the author doesn’t seem to respond to many requests for support.
    Wondering if anyone else has a fix for this error. ?

    I note that this error was supposed to be fixed by the latest plugin 2.3 but it is not for me with WP 2.8.6. Is this error rekindled by the WP update ?
