Plug in won't activate

  • Hello,

    I’ve fiddled around with every possible setting but I can’t seem to get the plug in to activate. The website is very new and doesn’t have much content, the idea was just to have a landing page and nothing else initially.

    I’ve tried testing for a theme conflict and a plug in conflict but no joy. I’ve also tried with PHP versions 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5.

    I’m fairly new to this so maybe I’m missing something really simple? Any help / advice would be much appreciated.

    Sounds like a plugin/theme conflict.

    To test for a theme conflict:

    1. Activate default Twenty Ten, Eleven, Twelve, or Thirteen theme
    2. Check to see if the issue still occurs
    3. If the issue does not occur after having activated the default “Twenty” theme, your theme is causing a conflict with landing pages.

    To test for a plugin conflict:

    1. Deactivate ALL plugins
    2. Activate Landing Pages
    3. Check to see if the issue occurs

    If the issue does not occur, one (or more) of your plugins is causing a conflict with Landing Pages.

    To determine which plugin(s) is causing the conflict, follow these steps:

    1. Activate each plugin one by one
    2. Check to see if the issue occurs after each plugin is activated

    Sorry to be a pain, but that didn’t solve it either.

    Am I missing something else?

    same issue here. did you find a solution Richardavie?

    just spent hours and hours building a page, assuming there was a ‘activate’ button somewhere, but i cant see it.

    not the theme, or the plugins and i just did a fresh install of WP. maybe its not yet compatible with WP 4?
