Plug shows words from body and not excerpt when selected

I just Installed your plug but i seem to be having some problems with it at this time.

(Line up) Easy Related Posts 1.4.2.1 WordPress 3.6.1

(Troubleshooting) i have disabled all plug-ins to see if any were causing the problem and after disabling i was still getting the problem

(Problem) When i select show excerpt i get the info from the body of the post, and not the info i placed in the excerpt box if i unselect. no info is displayed and if i select it again than info is displayed but like i said it is info from the body of the post and not the info from the excerpt box
