This plugin can accidentally block all traffic from your site trough a 403 error. This happened to us on two different websites / hosting environments. We found out about this through a message from the Google Webmaster Tools. After uninstalling the plugin and cleaning up the .htaccess file the problem was solved.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your review.

I’m going to release a new version of the plugin this week. Hopefully that will fix your issues!

    Hi,

Is your server behind a proxy?

The update is taking more time than expected. And it is really hard for me to find time to work on it. I hope I can finish it soon though.

The settings that we use on our sites are:
Allowed login attempts before blocking IP: 5
Minutes before resetting login attempts count: 60
    Failed login delay: 1
