Hey, i installed Directorist on my website and upon activating, it resulted in a 404 page not found error. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but the issue remained. I tried to access the permalinks page but that page is showing 404 page not found as well. I am not sure what is the issue. I am able to install and activate other plugins. Also, this hasn’t affected the website. It is just the permalinks page and the activation page for Directorist plugin.

    Hello @dsinghal ,

Thank you for reaching us out. This is unusual and probably you are experiencing a theme conflict or Directorist is conflicting with another plugin.

You can use “Health Check Plugin”, the Health Check plugin can aid you in the conflict test without impacting any site visitors. Download and install the plugin. Activate it and navigate to Tools > Site Health and do the following

If you see errors on the ‘Status’ or ‘Info’ tabs, please resolve the issues before continuing

Click on the ‘Troubleshooting’ tab, check the warning information, and hit ‘Enter Troubleshooting Mode’.

Troubleshooting mode will automatically deactivate the plugins and activate the default theme (This won’t affect users). If you deleted the default theme’s(twenty20) then the plugin will prompt to download it.

Leave only the “Directorist” activated and check if the issue persists.

Activate plugins one by one to detect which plugin is causing the conflict.

Let us know the test results, we will be happy to assist.

    Regards,
