Plugin active but webalizer still peaks

Hello,
We have the plugin activated and it does pick up on brute-force bots, however our webalizer stats are still polluted with 10.000+ access attempts; isnt it possible to return a HTTP 403 error for users who are temporarily blocked?
or otherwise automate a connection with wp-ban?
