Your host is running a caching layer so you just need to clear your cache when you do not see a change. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

But how to approach them, what to tell them to do?

I’ve used the WP Super Cache, CMD flushdns and brower clean up – nothing.

Just tell them you have a caching problem. when you make changes to your website they don’t show up.
