  • Hi
What steps I cannot execute myself?
    Regards

    Hello,

I am having trouble getting the plugin to post to subdomains on the same url.

If I put urla it says incorrect url. If I put urla.mydomain.com it makes urla.mydomain.com.mydomain.com.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks!

    Hi Holden2,

Yes that is correct, the plugin is meant to do cloning AND domainmapping in 1 go. That is why you need a valid domain for each cloned site.
However I see that many people ‘just’ want to use my plugin for cloning many subdomains or subdirectory sites WITHOUT domainmapping them.

Therefore I made an update which will be available later today (or tomorrow) which can do this. So keep your eyes out for the update!

And a thank you with a cup of coffee would be nice (and my first actually). It is a wonder I am still awake without the caffeine.

    Thanks for knocking that out!

I will send you some coffee money.

    Hello fritsjan,

    Thanks for your plugin!
I’m in the case of wordpress not installed in the root directory, but in https://myroot.org/dept/blogs
And I would like to batch create
    https://myroot.org/dept/blogs/a
    https://myroot.org/dept/blogs/b
    etc.

I did not really get why it was a bad idea, and in our case (pretty big non-for-profit organization with a lot of sub-departments), I’m not sure I can avoid it.

Do you think it would be nevertheless possible?

    Hey Fritsjan,

This plugin has been so useful that I need to go with multiple db’s for my WordPress install.

I am running into issues with wordpress’s ability to create new sites now.

Any ideas how to fix that?

    Thanks!
