[Plugin: Add Link to Facebook] Error Authorizing With New Facebook Account

  • I was logged into my other Facebook account, and authorized the plugin on it, instead of the account I was supposed to use.

    Now when I change the app ID and stuff, and click authorize, I get an error – it’s not taking me to facebook page. It asks me to see the FAQ.

    Marcel, can you give me the names of tables created by this plugin, and where they are created (inside which table)? I would like to uninstall the plugin completely and install it again.

  • The plugin stores its data as user/post/comment meta data.

    Try this: remove either the App ID or App Secret, save, restore it, save again. The plugin will ask for authorization again. Authorize now with the correct account and the problem should be solved ??

    But you still may need to solve the error …

    Yep, issue resolved!

    Remove either the App ID or App Secret, save, restore it, save again. Then authorize.
