Plugin – Add New / Theme error

    Hello,

    I’m a having an issue with 5.1.1. When I go to plugin and click on ADD NEW or Theme, it will come back with the following:-

    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration.

    Had tried de-activating plugins, changing themes, running Health check etc but nothing works.

    Need help badly.

    Hi there,

    That just doesn’t sound fun. How comfortable are you installing an application and uploading the theme or plugin. Using a program like FileZilla or Cyberduck to upload the files to your site is another option of installing themes and plugins to your site.

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for your inputs, I’ve managed to solve it. My server’s host file is pointing to old wordpress update server IPs. I have no idea who place those IPs there:)
