Backslashes Added Before Apostrophes & Quotes In Terms & Conditions Popup

    Hello,
    I have created a support site using your plugin. I use the same theme on all sites I build (Page Builder Framework) and use Elementor Pro. I’ve never had this problem until now and it only happens in the popup window of the terms and conditions box.

    I have tried to type in the content, I get slashes. I’ve tried to copy and paste in the content as unformatted text, still I get slashes. The only thing that prevents the slashes is if I use the ASCII code for both apostrophes and quotation marks. The problem with that is, my terms & conditions is pretty long to type in and I’d prefer to copy and paste.

    Why is this only happening on the terms and conditions popup box and how is it prevented?

    Hi @tannetoni,

    It seems to be a conflict with the theme you are using as we were not able to replicate this issue with other themes. Try to change to another theme in order to see if the issue continues or disappears. If your theme is the one that causes the backslashes, please contact your theme provider and let us know what they say.
