Plugin/addon cause massive performance drop

  • After installing the plugin my performance score went from 97/98 to 44/40..when i disable plugin it went up to 97-98 again, when i enable it goes to 40 again..plugin is so amazing i like it very much but this preventing me from using it, how to fix it? site drops performance more then half after enabling that one addon

    Hi there!

    I do not think Better Messages is causing that.

    Your screenshots contains only some basic numbers, where I can see that Better Messages plugin is the exact reason of that?

    i can record for you..i tested 8 times, i backup my website
    test speedsite on hosting + google speedsite insight score is score is almost 100 then i install better messages and drop to 50 or under..

    what else would be causing it? its dropping only after installing this addon

    I really like addon its really amazing look and i appreciate it very much that is free but i don’t know what to say to performance drop ?? i’m ultra sad that i am not able to use it, do you have any recommendation what should i do? i even tried increasingi refresh rate to 15, using white theme, disabling file upload and many other things but it didn’t improve

    Like i said i tested it at least 8 times but now i decide to record for you to see on your own

    I recorded it

    I did test without addon score is 99, then i installed Better Messages addon and score went from 99 to 53 (WHICH IS HUGEEEEEEE DROP) you can see on video


    i really want to continue using the plugin but i don’t know how can i be able to do that if performance drop is that huge if its 10% drop i would accept that but this is almost 50% drop
    (i’m not using weak server, i have enough powerful server, close location, optimized and score was 97-99 in all cases and now its dropping from 40-55 (after removing plugin it goes back to 99)

    but i don’t have site issues score is always 97-99 until i install this plugin then it goes from 40-55 will upgrading to premium version resolve the issue?

    any idea what could be causing it or how to improve score (my score is usually good as you saw but just after enabling THIS addon it goes lower) its sad because i really like the addon, best so far, sadly causing me performance issues and preventing me from using ??
