[Plugin: Admin Menu Editor] Does not change title

  • I wanted to change “Posts” to “Articles” and while Admin Menu Editor is able to change the top menu link and the drop-down menu links it does not change the “Posts” label after you click on “Articles” (label that appears next to the WP ‘pin’ icon).

    UPDATE: Does not change the title “Edit Post” from within a posted article either.

    Almost, almost bought the paid/Pro version because I thought this would keep me from hacking code. Back to hacking code!

    The label is hard-coded in WP core, so it’s not really possible to change it from a plugin. In this case, hacking code is the only practical option.
