[Plugin: Adminer] After Update, No longer works

After updating to the latest version a few weeks back, I no longer am able to access the Adminer console. When you click to open within wordpress, a blank page appears. When you click to open in a new window, you;re taken to the following URL:`
https://www.SITE.com/wp-content/plugins/adminer/inc/adminer/loader.php?username=wpuser&db=wp`Which shows a 500 error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.SITE.com/wp-content/plugins/adminer/inc/adminer/loader.php?username=wpuser&db=wp. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly. Please advise... Thank you very much in advance
