• Using the most updated versions of WordPress & Adminimize I’m having problems getting the options to stick. I can go through the lists and uncheck whatever I need and click “update options” and there’s a 50/50 chance that the settings will take.

Now, it’ll stay that way until I clear my cache (Total Cache) which since WordPress 3.3/3.3.1 there’s been a plug-in update everyday so it needs to be done.

I have way too many plug-ins (30; used to be 45 but I’m slowly learning PHP and am getting rid of these one by one) so maybe that’s causing a problem? It’s a Buddypress site, uses W3 Total Cache, Yoast! SEO, and like I said 15+ other plug-ins that I don’t really think effect the back-end.

    My site is https://ycsmnews.com

    Maybe there’s a commone problem I’m missing?

  • I’m having the same issue.

    Same issue for me also.

I installed the plugin on a recent install of WordPress 3.3.1, made some changes and clicked ‘update options’, which had the correct result. However when I went back into the plugin the changes were no longer there – all checkboxes were empty again.

The settings do seem to be sticking, but not only do I not know what they are, I can’t undo any of them either, which is no use at all.

Any chance of a fix here?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Update: this seems to be working again now, so it was either a false alarm or is intermittent.

I have noticed, I assume the same issue. If you clear all settings, Deinstall Options, at the bottom, then your changes should stick.

This could be related to another bug, or lacking feature, where by if you add, rename, move menu items using another plugin, because you have added a custom post type etc, the changes to not show up in adminimize. To access the new menus in adminimize to alter permissions you have to remove all your settings with Deinstall Options and then the missing menus will show and you can to what you need to with these.

klick update settings and you see the new items of the new plugins in the settings of Adminimize; the plugin refresh only on saving the items, not always on load.
