[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] Blank Screen after v1.6

Tried to save some changes in the access manager front and this happens in the logs:

1: Call to undefined function chmode() in .. /plugins/advanced-access-manager/model/configpress.php (50)

e “typo” ??

This is the same issue. But now it tries to save ConfigPress. Just change the chmode to chmod.

Some other issue here. When I try to save changes in the front end for lets say user role contributor in section – main menu – tools and only allow available tools (this one is unchecked), the rest is checked and then save, the selections do not get saved. Even after clearing cache. the whole branch is checked instead…. same happens e.g on – main menu – dashboard… maybe elsewhere too, haven’t tried it

Okay 1.6.1.1 completely knackers my site. I was using 1.6 w/o problem. There is nothing in the error log. When I log out my site is completely inaccessible and when I rename the main plug-in directory site is fine. Error I get form Chrome is a HTTP 500 Error. Please advise – should I roll back to 1.6? I have deactivated the plugin for the time being.

Just delete the AAM and install it again. It should be ok.

I did that and the error still happens.

OK. Then revert back to 1.6. Next release will have some fixes. Hope this will help u.
