[Plugin: Advanced Category Excluder] Categories still showing up in the sidebar

  • I’m using ACE 1.4.3 and everything seems to be working fine, except the categories that are hidden are still showing up in the side bar on single post pages. I’m also using the ace widget plugin.

    Same thing goes with the date archives in my sidebar. On the home page everything works fine, archives by date works fine, but when i visit a category archive page all the dates of hidden posts are showing up in the sidebar. Any idea what’s causing this? Possibly a conflict with wordpress 3.1?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Same thing for me. And that’s the only reason I installed the plug-in was to remove 4 categories from the sidebar listing. Are we just missing a setting somewhere? If there’s no fix has anyone found an alternative plug-in that will do this?
