[Plugin: Advanced Custom Fields] Errors after upgrading to v3.5.0

    After first upgrading WP from 3.4.1 to 3.4.2 and subsequently upgrading ACF, I get the following error messages (like >10) in the backend and in the frontend:

    Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /mnt/webj/c0/82/52627982/htdocs/cms/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 201

Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /mnt/webj/c0/82/52627982/htdocs/cms/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 202

    I haven’t done anything else except upgrading these two components.

    Okay, so after restoring an earlier backup and FIRST upgrading ACF and then upgrading WP everything worked flawlessly. Thank you anyway.
