[Plugin: Advanced Excerpt] Not working for my theme

My wordpress is using Canvas theme by woo themes.

Oddly they recommended your plugin, but when i tried it, it didn’t work :/

Please any ideas ? I really hate the default excerpt formating on my site, and am unable to use your plugin which would solve this issue.
