• I’m using the advertising manager plugin over at https://massivedamage.com. For now I just have a few google adsense ads up through advertising manager. When setting the ads up, I checked the OpenX market checkbox, but the thing is I’m not using openx.org as an ad server. I just pasted in the html code I got from google adsense. Is that enough, for the ads to show up on the openx market? Or do I first need to use openx.org as my ad server, paste the google adsense code over there, then paste their code into advertising manager?

  • Hi Swaraj,

The checkbox is for OpenX Market – which is integrated inside OpenX Ad Server, but it does not require that OpenX Ad Server is used. The OpenX Market checkbox will check to see which the most profitable ad for the user is, and display that ad.

The OpenX Market functionality inside of Advertising Manager is not functional yet – should be hopefully soon.

    Cheers,

Is there a difference between the Advertising Manager plugin and the e-Commerce plugin? if so, what is it?
    Steve.

I am not sure what the e-Commerce plugin is. Can you give me some additional detail?

    Cheers,
    Scott
