I’d really love to use this plugin to rotate ads from within my theme. Is there a way to do this? The documentation site stil seems to be not “all there”. ??

The only function I’ve found is the advman_ad($name). I suppose I could create a cross-reference of groups of ads to randomly pull out a name. Or perhaps hit up the database to dynamically create groups based on some given parameters. Is that the preferred method at this point?

Basically, I don’t want to recreate the wheel if it’s already in the plugin somewhere and I just don’t know it.

Speaking of hitting up the database, in what tables are these ads stored?

    spencersokol:

Advertising Manager rotates ads. Basically, name all the ads you want to rotate the same thing. For example, if you have an ad at the top of your sidebar, and you want to rotate Google Adsense with Adify, you would name them both:

    ‘right-sidebar-top’

Advertising Manager would rotate these ads. You can change the weight setting in the ads to optimise the rotation – for example, if you want to show Adify 75% of the time and Google 25% of the time, you would set the weight of the Adify ad to 3, and leave the Google ad at 1.

    I hope this helps,
    Scott

Yes, that should help. I will try that out. Thanks!
