• I installed an Ad Manager update automatically a day or so ago, and all my Google Adsense leaderboard ads are not displaying… Just white space.

The Adsense code is unchanged, and the Preview displays an ad as it should, but they’re not popping on the site.

Two other ads with different dimensions are still displaying properly.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

  • Any luck with this? I’m having similar problems?

Check your website to make sure that the Google Adsense code is being displayed (e.g. ‘view source’, and search for the google tag).

If it is, it is likely that Google Adsense is choosing not to display the ad. Usually this is because there are too many Google ads on a page, or google decided that there is some reason that you are not adhering to their terms and conditions (e.g. competitive ads, too many ads per page, etc.)

If the adsense code is not in your page, then it is likely that you have rules in Advertising Manager which restricts the ad to display on the blog. For example, if the ad should display for a particular author, but on your site the article is not by that author.

    Good luck,
    Scott

Thanks for the tips, Scott, but that doesn’t seem to be entirely it.

    A couple more details:
    * Other google ads are displaying in a widget / sidebar. The ads that are not displaying are embedded in posts.
    * All the ads that are not displaying are leaderboard.
    * Local ads identified by URL in AdMan code fields are also not displaying.

    Cheers,
