[Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] Calender Stopped Showing

My calendar also stop showing the calendar view. I stopped some other plugins, but nothing helps. I also just see the category’s.

I actualy had someone else look at it for me and they fixed it. However I just switched themes and now its not working again. I have emailed the tech who fixed it last time to see how he fixed it and how i may do it if this happens again. From my understanding it has something to do with the https://jquery.com/. when i figure it out ill share with everyone.

Here is the fix for the issue with jquery 1.8. After modifying my theme my calender stopped working. My new theme uses Jquery 1.8. In turn if your site uses Jquery 1.8 this is the fix for you.

open the file in the calendar plugins javascript folder called jquery.fullcalendar.min.js and do a find and replace for curCSS to css.

There are about twenty curCSS that you need to modify to css. after you make those changes and save and uploaded back to the plugin folder were it goes. It should work. Make sure to back up your data just in case. Hope this helps

WordPress 3.4.1 uses jQuery 1.8.20 by default.

So, for a NEWBIE, can you tell me specifically how to find this folder? I’m so frustrated that I lost my event calendar.

I found the folder, but it’s not working for me ?? I wonder what I’m doing wrong.

THANK YOU johnaustinny! Too bad the forum has no thumbs up or votes. It’s odd that changing a theme would “lose” the entire online calendar. Editing the calendar still showed them so I didn’t panic – just had to find the angels who post solutions.
Editing ..\wp\wp-content\plugins\ajax-event-calendar\js\jquery.fullcalendar.min.js to replace curCSS to css (then ftp the file) fixed the problem.

has stopped working again does anyone have the same issue. the fix i earlier used no longer works. It looks like that was addressed in the recent update of the plugin. Is there a new issue anyone is aware of?

It looks as though you got it working again, unless I’m mistaken.
