Hi, not sure if this is to do with my theme, but after upgrading to 0.8 I can finally get the calendar to show! Sadly, 2 things are happening

    1) the sidebars are fixed, I can’t remove them even if I wanted to. However this is not a huge issue.

    2) Clicking the event title causing the page to dim and a pop up to appear – and it sticks on “loading event details”.

Is there any fix for this? I can’t seem to find any solution yet. But thanks! The linkable titles alone make this way better than google calendar in concept.

    Hello Eran,

I’m having a similar issue where when I want to edit or delete an event, on the drop down page for the event created, I get the message “Loading event form….”, yet the page never loads. This actually freezes the page and I have to hit the back button to go to the previous page and then click on the calendar to go back to it. I have downloaded 1.0 version. This is a great event calendar! I can create events easily, i love that they can print it, the events show on the front side all nicely color coded, but I’m unable to edit or delete anything that’s already been created. The URL for the site is https://fullertonnd.com/calendar

I’m also wondering what you recommend using to add editing capabilities to other users. I would like anyone who has WP editor status on this site to also be able to contribute to the calendar… is this possible rather than giving someone only editor status or only “calendar contributor”?

    Thank you!

    Eran,

Seems the plugin is conflicting with JigoShop.

Error: this.getFullYear is not a function
    Source File: /plugins/jigoshop/assets/js/jigoshop_backend.js?ver=1.0
    Line: 101

Do you have any ideas on how this can be fixed without turning of jigoshop each time a change needs to be made?

    Thank you,

@mikmanage: Does the conflict cause the calendar to stop working, or the JigoShop plugin to stop working? If the calendar doesn’t work, then you should contact the author(s) of JigoShop and ask them to fix the conflict – or switch to an alternate plugin that does not conflict. Conversely, if the calendar is causing JigoShop to stop working, then submit the conflict to the official issue tracker.

    Eran,

I don’t understand the conflict, I was just passing on what I was told. Is this something you cannot fix on your end or you are not willing to fix? In your response, you indicate that someone else should fix the problem whether it is your plugin causing the issue or the other plugin.

While I would prefer not to because your calendar seemed to be the most perfect match available for our needs, if forced, I have to stick with the current shopping plugin. I have a lot more time invested in that than the calendar. Since i have entered very little data into the calendar, it would be much easier to try to find a different calendar than a different shopping cart.

    Sincerely,

    Mikmanage,
You misunderstood. To reiterate, if the other plugin is causing the calendar to fail, then you’ll want to contact the other plugin’s authors. If the calendar is causing the other plugin to fail, then you’ll need to submit a report to the official AEC issue tracker (so it can be added to the queue for prioritization) – to which I provided the link.
    Eran
