[Plugin: Akismet] aksimet not working

    Assuming you’ve created an account at akismet.com, you’ll need to enter the API key for the account you created in the Akismet Configuration page.

    yes i did all that but the problem was wit host…

    This problem normally occurred when your web host is unable to reach A kismet’s servers

    I have akismet but it’s not showing in my plugins any longer. I went to go activate it and this is what I get:

    “Destination folder already exists. (Folder it’s in)public_html/wp-content/plugins/akismet/

    Plugin install failed.”

    Can someone please tell me how to get it back?
