  • I second this emotion … please tell me this project is not really canceled. I really like these plugins and want to continue using them with WordPress 3.0!

    All Alkivia projects have been canceled. This includes all WordPress plugins and Themes.

    Last WordPress version we tested current plugin and theme versions is WP 2.9.2. Current plugin and theme versions are the last ones, no more versions nor fixes will be released.

    First:
    I truly hope someone picks this plugin up and continues to update the code in it. If I knew php well enough, I would do it myself. It is the only plugin of its type that provides just what I prefer. Just enough to satify a desire for extended profiles and user photos to really personalize the user’s account but not so in depth that it adds a whole other dimension to the web site.

    Second:
    I am using Alkivia Version 0.10.4 with WP 3.0 (newest version) and it works like a dream with easily edited templates that you can copy and place outside the plugin in their own folder so that future updating does not destroy the work you put into it.

    I should add that it works like a dream on the main blog, however not on the multiuser blogs on my site.
