• Hey

I just took a quick test of the newest version of All in One Event Calendar, and it looks really nice!

Right now I am using the Events Manager plugin for a client because they need the booking feature. They also run a multisite for their wordpress sites.

Can All in One Event Calendar run on a multi site?
When are you planing on adding booking possibility (could not see it available in the newest version)?
When these things are in place I would like to transfer the events pages from Events Manager over to your plugin.

What about having an custom area below regular posts making it so that one can add a post directly to the calendar without having to create a new Events page? (posts can also be events)

Btw Your demo should include clicking on specific events opens up to the nice events page. It seems that they go to an error page instead.

I think that was it for now….:)

I look forward to your continued work on this Calendar!

-We are currently using ai1ec on a multisite, if you are having issues you will have to describe the issues and what plugins you are using

When are you planing on adding booking possibility
    – This is something we have been working on for quite a while, we are trying to make it as flexible as possible and bug free before release it, hopefully we will have it out in less than a month

    – I will be more than happy to develop an importer for Events Manager. Just drop a line here when you need it.

What about having an custom area below regular posts making it so that one can add a post directly to the calendar without having to create a new Events page
    – It is difficult but not impossible, however, it will be easier to include events in your regular posts than to make events posts. If you need help with displaying events in your frontend, let me know and I will give you some tips as well as some code that will get you started ??

    – Thanks, I will check the demo and see what is going on.

Thank you very very much Yani for your thorough and good responses!

So what about also saving an event as a post? It could then be placed into the events calendar and for instance a news (what is going on) post section. Or one could of course just copy the event info into a new post…:)

One more thing. Customizing the design of the events page and the calendar layout, is this something that is easy to do? I noticed someone mention skins/theming which could also be an option.

    Have a great day!

    ps
(edit) Another thing. Just today a friend of mine asked me about a calendar that can do booking and paypal. It is for a horse riding center where a customer and book a hour and pay for it at the same time.

I am just unable to see the need for the event to be converted to a post. You can mix posts and events on any pages, you will just need to edit the template

Well, it depends on the developer’s knowledge and how well he/she knows the plugin. The skins/themes are just a rumor for now ??

That’s something we are working on – enabling registration for events. I will post more details when there are some.

I am thinking that one spends time writing a good post adding some images etc etc, but one can go into the html and copy into the event. I just look at it this way. When one makes a good post or event it would be nice to share it with the other…..:) Perhaps I am off on a thin sidetrack…..

Rumors are fun….:) One gets the chance to think of all those crazy things that can be added. (practical or not does not matter..:)

Just send me an e-mail if you want an outside tester. It would be nice to help out!

    question please

why is this post in the bookings online calender division , are they the same????or those are 2 different plugins

Its different plugins. Its appear because of similar tag here.

Just looking for an update on this. I would really like to integrate a booking system with paypal for this plugin! Any news?

It’s currently under development with an expected launch date of late August. It’s not a small feature, and we want to make sure we get it right.

    Hi,

Thank you for all your work for this plugin, I like it very much, but I really need the booking possibility, when do you think it will be released?

    Thank you!

I’d be more happy to have the possiblity to display my posts as events in your calendar. Is it possible in some way?
